From the Photographers

📸 Say cheese! We enjoyed photographing Megan & Bryce's engagement session in the heart of downtown Bethlehem, PA! As wedding photographers based in Jim Thorpe, PA, we love returning to this charming location and discovering new ways to capture special memories with our couples. ❤️

From the colorful storefronts to the cozy alleyways, downtown Bethlehem is a dream location for engagement shoots. Megan and Bryce were the perfect couple to work with, and we had a blast exploring the area and capturing their love story. 🌟

One of our favorite parts of the session was discovering a hidden park behind one of the hotels. It was a tranquil and romantic spot that provided the perfect backdrop for intimate photos. Megan and Bryce were naturals in front of the camera, and we loved seeing their love for each other shine through every shot. 💕

As wedding photographers, we always strive to make our couples feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. For Megan and Bryce, this meant laughing, exploring, and enjoying each other's company. The result was a collection of beautiful, authentic photos that truly captured their unique love story. 😍

Overall, we had an incredible time photographing Megan and Bryce's engagement session in downtown Bethlehem, PA. We can't wait to return and create more magical memories with future couples! 📷💍

How they Met & the Proposal

Bryce and I went to high school together! Holy Cross High School in Dunmore, PA. Although we didn’t start dating until freshman year of college (at different schools). So close to high school sweethearts, but maybe college sweethearts?

It was Sunday Nov. 13 2022. I definitely knew it was coming! Bryce planned for us to go to our favorite bubble tea store in Bethlehem (Hocaa), and then the actual proposal was on a street we always passed and talked about - Puggy Lane. Pugs are my favorite dogs, and we always joked about living on Puggy Lane together. After he proposed, we drove up to New York City, to Madison Square Garden, to see my favorite K-pop group: Itzy. It was the first time I’ve never been to MSG and my first K-pop concert! The day was certainly unpredictable, but we were so happy at the end of the day.

Best part of the Engagement + some Advice

Our favorite part is it being official. We had decided we wanted to get engaged a while ago, and considered ourselves to be. Being able to wear my ring, Bryce wearing his, and it now being official (and wedding planning underway!) has been so exciting.

My best advice is take your time! We agreed on a long engagement a while ago, and not having to rush or worry about finding something that may or may not be a good fit for us or what we want is a great feeling. Of course, I think more people prefer a shorter engagement and to be married as soon as possible! But for us, this is great.
