This badge represents that we have both successfully completed all courses and have graduated from Two Mann University. Two Mann U was founded and executed by two of the world’s leading and award-winning photographers, who also happen to be a husband and wife team, Erika and Lanny Mann! Two Mann University consisted of 14+ weeks that were jam-packed with a wealth of education that focused indicatively on the world of wedding photography. We covered everything from posing and lighting to editing and workflow while hitting every morsel of information in between. All of these topics collectively play an extensive role in us being able to perform to the best of our abilities for you on one of the biggest days of your life!

My Story 📸
Hey there! I grew up in Catasauqua, PA, in "small-town USA." After high school, I had a few odd jobs to pay the bills but didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up. A few years later, I decided to enroll in a local technical school where I majored in criminal justice. During this endeavor, I quickly realized that I didn't know where I wanted to land after graduation. However, I did know that I did not want to be a police officer, work in a prison system, or pursue law. Soon after graduation, everything changed when I purchased and held my first camera. I wanted to learn as much as possible about this mechanism and unleash its potential. It soon became clear that I wanted to capture the memories of my friends and family. Soon after that, I could offer my eye for photography to everyone. Candid moments are my absolute favorite to capture, as they share your true emotions at that very second. My wife, Laurette, is my partner in crime. Together, we make one heck of a dynamic duo. Laurette offers a creative eye, bold ideas, & is the detail QUEEN! Altogether we help to make your experience personal and unforgettable.

~Stouts & Sour beers are my absolute favorite. ~On Laurette and I's first date, I was so nervous that I commented on her shoes after we hugged each other. ~Coffee. I kinda need this. ~I occasionally dress up as a Stormtrooper for various charity, sporting & comic con events. I guess you can call me a Star Wars fan. ~I can't swim to save my life. No, REALLY, I can't swim. ~I am deathly afraid of spiders and scare easily. ~Our furbabies Chester, Jade, & Honey are life!

Why hello there!
So you wanna know a little about me, eh? Well, grab your favorite beverage and a bowl of snacks because you are in for a ride! I grew up as a small-town girl with a BIG heart for arts and crafts of all kinds. I was a dancer almost all my life and even began instructing at the age of 12. You name it, I danced it! From hip-hop to gymnastics and jazz to tap. I poured my heart and soul onto that dance floor every chance I was given. Believe it or not, I didn’t always know that I had the creative eye and intense passion for photography that I do now. The more Preston would photograph, the more I couldn’t wait to meet the amazing clients he always boasted about. I wanted to be hands-on, interactive, and help with his business at any open opportunity I was given. I’ve been working in the medical field for 10 years and was also continuing my education to pursue a nursing degree. At the beginning of 2021, I was accepted into a nursing program and given the chance of a lifetime, or so I thought for many years. After what seemed like months of inner conflict, I realized that I needed to do what truly made me HAPPY. I declined acceptance to the program and decided to dive headfirst into Christman Photography. I’ve always carried a passion for taking care of other people, and this new journey will allow me to do just that. If you made it this far into my autobiography, thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I look forward to getting to know you and capturing your unforgettable moments!

~Hot lattes and hard cider give me life. ~Preston and I performed a surprise dance at our wedding that included a lightsaber battle and rump-shaking. ~I love creative writing and bringing words to life. ~We 3 furbabies, Honey, Chester, and Jade who I love more than life itself. ~I am a lover of all animals but have a small obsession with otters and pigs. ~I've been told on many occasions that I should be a stand-up comedian. Ha!

Hi, I’m Dave! I live in Lansdale, PA with my wonderful wife and our three beautiful kiddo’s. Aside from helping Preston and Laurette capture epic moments at weddings, I run a videography company that focuses on corporate projects. For many years I worked in the Mental Health field and hold a Masters in Professional Counseling. As with many who enter the mental health field, I eventually felt I had helped and achieved as much as my heart desired and pivoted to a more creative career. A handful of years later here we are making art. I am obsessed with photography and videography.

Something I’ve learned about myself throughout my life is that I’m either all in or not in at all. When I picked up a camera I was all in. Outside of running a camera, I adore spending time with my family, smoking on my grills, and am a huge video game nerd.

Hi hi, I’m Shannon! I’m a Pennsylvania native who calls the Lehigh Valley home, though I’ve lived all over the state. I’ve been involved in the arts for as long as I can remember, but the camera I picked up at three became my voice. I’m often described as “the quiet force” — a mix of warmth, reserve, and presence. At my core, I’m an observer: I pay attention to the overlooked, the unspoken, the small details that carry more truth than the big moments sometimes do. That’s how I move through the world, and it’s what shapes how I photograph.

I'm a big art, history, and botanical nerd. I love visiting different museums and conservatories to learn more about things and become fully immersed. I love plants. I have an ever-growing collection of house plants and love tending to them. I recharge by being in nature and specifically in bodies of water and listening to birds singing. Ironically, I'm afraid of deep water and birds. And spiders. And snakes.

I'm Jo Robertson, Preston & Laurette's Virtual Assistant from the UK, I'm so excited to be here!!
I'm a welsh 40-something-year-old mum, wife, owner of a very cute beagle, and a Birth Photographer who lives in a small seaside town called Porthcawl in South Wales, UK. Many moons ago... I studied photography at University and have dabbled in lots of photography genres but black-and-white documentary photography has always been my go-to and love. Throughout my early twenties, I hopped onboard a cruise ship as a photographer and traveled the world, it's where I met my husband. After cruise ships, I worked for a short time with the local press and eventually ended up working in a photographic lab for the police (long story!)
I feel so honored to be part of Preston & Laurette's dynamic, super-talented, awesome duo and I can not wait to help make your journey with Christman Photography a stand-out, fun, and mega-memorable experience!

I'm OBBSSEED with Antiques and anything vintage and flea markets are my happy place. I'm a huge David Lynch fanatic and a massive lover of old-school Horror films. I wear my socks inside out 99% of the time (except when brand new) I have far too much sugar in my tea but love a good cuppa. Buying photography books is a weakness of mine and visiting galleries and museums is a favorite pastime. I love all things art-related, cinema, theatre, poetry, and music. I host a podcast called The Adventures of a Birth Photographer and finally, I relish steaming hot baths and jumping into a freshly made bed at the end of the day! I can't WAIT to connect with YOU!!

Hi! My name's Peter, I live in Bethlehem PA, and love The Greater Lehigh Valley area and everything surrounding it! What's there to know about me? Well, I got my BFA in film from Kutztown University, and have worked various media jobs throughout the years. From being a cameraman on cable tv, taking pictures of youngsters for school sports photos, and working in corporate videography, If it has to do with a camera, I’m all in! All of this has all led me to working with the Christmans, helping them capture every precious moment of the most important day of couples lives, and I couldn't be more grateful to have that opportunity!

I love making movies. My absolute favorite part of college was getting a group of friends together and making something profound, stupid, or profoundly stupid. I also like having nights out with friends and loved ones. I'm pretty big into video games and computer tinkering, and my most defining characteristic of all is building LEGO. I’ve been obsessed with those blocks since I was 8. I also grew up adoring Spider-Man, and now I'm a photographer named Peter. It’s a match made in heaven!
Peter is our main Photographer's assistant with aspirations on becoming a future 2nd photographer for us! You may see him from time to time.
Meet Our Furbabies: Chester, Honey, & Jade !
Our little family is simple. Our favorite time of the day is kicking back, relaxing, and spoiling our furbabies!
Chester : The Sith. He is a lover of naps, being his humans editing buddy, and treats of all kinds.
Honey : The Wise One. Has Passed away & is one with the Force at the age of 17 years young. She loved tons of snuggles, kisses, and Slim Jims. We will miss her dearly.
Jade : The Jedi . She is a lover of being all up in her humans grill, catnip toys, & feeding time.
