From the Photographers

We had such an amazing time with Vince and Taylor during their engagement session at B Social in Bethlehem, PA! This session was filled with pure fun—from arcade games and bowling to some friendly axe throwing competition. Their chemistry and laughter made every moment feel effortless and genuine. After the shoot, we all went out to dinner, sharing stories and excitement about their upcoming wedding next month. We can’t wait to celebrate with them again soon!

How they Met

We may never know the exact moment we met—because technically, we didn’t. Not then, anyway. We both attended St. Thomas More Elementary School, just a grade apart, unknowingly crossing paths in the same halls, same uniforms, same lunch line, probably even in the same school plays… but never quite noticing.

Years later, in high school, we reconnected in the most, “We went to Catholic school, Rom-Com,” way possible: a church retreat. Vince, full of nerves and teenage awkwardness (his words, not hers), dropped to one knee—with a single red rose—and asked Taylor to prom. His logic? She couldn’t say no in front of Jesus.

(Spoiler: she didn’t. Even though she didn’t know what school he actually went to at this point, nor who he really even was?.)

Prom came and went. Life carried them in different directions—Vince to Wilkes University, Taylor to NYU. Time passed. And as fate would have it, one of them reached back out… though to this day, they both insist it was the other first.

They agreed to meet up—just to "see where life had brought them." Their first official date? Bowling at Revolutions (now BSocial), full of awkward catch-up, easy laughter, and one chivalrous moment: Vince let Taylor win the first game. (But not the second. He had a reputation to protect.)

Maybe a week later came their second date — an easygoing hangout at The Promenade, an outdoor mall nearby. They planned for a quick walk, maybe a bite to eat…

But one thing led to another: a movie, dinner, drinks, unplanned hours shared side-by-side.

That night, something shifted. It didn’t feel like dating — it felt like meeting someone you already somehow knew.

They talked about everything — the kind of life they dreamed of, the jobs they hoped for, where they could imagine living, what a family might look like someday. Even how many kids.

It all came out, without pressure, without pretense.

And somehow, it all just... fit.

The conversation faded for a while after that — life got busy, feelings settled in — but it always came back.

Each time, a little more certain.

Each time, a little more serious.

Each time, a little closer to the life they’re building now.

Now, after 6 years of growing, laughing, learning, loving—and now a proposal—Taylor and Vince have come to realize one simple truth:

Anything becomes the perfect adventure when you’re doing it with the right person beside you.

Whether it’s a trip to Bethany Beach or Disney World, or just a grocery store run on a random Tuesday — if it’s with each other, it’s the best part of the day.

This is the love they’re bringing into marriage: joyful, spontaneous, deeply rooted, and ready to tackle whatever may come.

The Proposal

It happened in Boston, just as winter was settling in.

Taylor was in town for a work convention, and Vince decided to tag along to keep her company. He had several proposal plans floating around — elaborate, thoughtful, Pinterest-worthy scenarios — but ultimately, he knew something deeper:

There are so few true surprises in life, and he wanted this one to be real, simple, and from the heart.

He wanted to propose in a way that felt like them.

So he booked a beautiful dinner on the water. They ate, they laughed, and as they wandered through the city afterward — near midnight, under the quiet hush of the season — they stumbled upon a nearly empty Christmas village. The world had gone still: twinkling lights, crisp November air, and not a sound around them.

That’s when Vince pulled the ultimate surprise.

He got down on one knee — again — just like he had all those years ago at that youth retreat. Only this time, it wasn’t about awkward prom invitations or teenage nerves.

This time, it was the start of forever.

(Bonus detail?)

Just two hours earlier, over dinner, Taylor had jokingly said:

“I’m so tired from this convention... I’m just really glad you didn’t propose in Boston.”

Vince smiled.

And proposed in Boston anyway — because when you know, you know.

And he couldn’t wait one more minute to call her his fiancée.

Best Part of Being Engaged + Some Advice

The best part for us has been knowing that we are moving into the next phase of life together. Yes picking out choices for our wedding has been fun of course, but we are moreso excited to make the next step, share the same last name, and start our family. We had a ton of fun getting to see Kane Brown live in concert this summer, with his wife Katelyn, singing the song we will have our first dance to, "Thank God."

For the sweet and sappy emotional advice: we keep telling ourselves, anytime that wedding planning becomes stressful or anxiety producing which it definitely can...we keep reminding ourselves, we only get to do this once so lets make the most of it, enjoy it, and have fun!

For the practical, get things done type advice: one of our favorite vendors, ....besides our AHHMAZING photography team! ;) ;) ....is Joe Moussa and his team from Mosaic&Co, for wedding coordination, florals, rentals---they are a one stop shop for so many things! The mosaic team truly takes their time with you as their clients and makes you feel like they know you as a couple and your wedding inside out and that, "They got this!," Not to mention his floral work is so stunning! He put together the most beautiful bouquet bar for my Bridal shower if anyone is looking for someone to do that as well :)
