Hey Friends, Meet Danielle and Ronnie!
I have known Danielle for a long time, and when she and Ronnie decided to get engaged, I was excited and honored to capture some new memories for them both. However! Did you know that I captured their surprise engagement back in May? Yup! Ronnie had a very elaborate plan at the Steel Stacks for open mic nights. This was just one of many dates the two had, as Ronnie was an avid performer. Lots of planning, and surrounded by friends and family, I was able to capture the moment Ronnie proposed. Check out the surprise engagement photos here! After the surprise, Danielle and Ronnie wanted additional fun photos to celebrate their engagement. We bounced ideas back and forth on where we can celebrate their engagement, Their Home, their 2nd date at the Allentown Rose Gardens, the Steel Stacks at Bethlehem where Ronnie proposed, or even at Whitehall Skate-A-Way. All were great locations, so we decided to celebrate the whole day and travel to all of the places that meant so much to them.
I love the adventure...and this "job"
These two lovers met online and have a mutual passion for helping and caring for children who are in need. It sparked an interest that will grow into an everlasting fire of love. The photos we captured together shows how much they care for one another. I love engagement sessions. It is a chance where I can get to know the couple and what they love to experience together. I hope you enjoy the photos and their story. Below is a quote from Ronnie, going into detail on their story. You may read it below.
"Danielle was my first ever Tinder date and also my last. Our mutual passion for helping and caring for children sparked interest in each other as we had both worked at Kidspeace Children’s hospital. Danielle and I’s first date was at the now closed Gregory’s Steak House in Allentown’s. Our second date was one of the most memorable at the Allentown Rose Garden, were we just laid out a blanket, had a picnic, and gazed at the stars as we talked about our hopes and dreams.
I recreated these two first dates as an anniversary surprise and for Valentines Day one year.
I officially asked Danielle to be my girlfriend while at Bethlehem Steel Stacks up on the walk way. Little did I know that I’d be asking her to marry me at that same location almost 3 years later.
Along the road leading to that moment, we’ve had countless fun adventures. We have always operated off a belief that the best gifts we could give each other are shared experiences. Some of our favorite experiences have been Sky Diving, Food Festivals, Skateaway, Theme Parks, Theatre, and Concerts.
Danielle is extremely thankful for the support, motivations, and comfort I provided as she made it through grad school and gained her Master’s in Clinical Counseling and Psychology.
Some of our favorite, more intimate, experiences are cuddling, watching movies, watching Notre Dame or Eagles football games, cooking, Danielle supporting me at open mic night’s and my DJ events.
We are honored to be godparents to our nephew, Hunter, and enjoy babysitting him.
We actually realized shortly after dating that Danielle had been at my Joe’s Tavern karaoke night 6 months before we dated and we had a brief interaction of me wishing her a happy birthday that a friend just so happened to get on video.
I knew I wanted to marry Danielle the first time I ever said “ I Love you” to her and felt those three words mean more to her then it ever had before as I told her our first New Years Eve when the ball dropped.
Months of planning went into my proposal to Danielle at the Steel Stacks in Bethlehem. Going to open mic nights there was always one of our favorite dates. I got the host of the open mic, to allow me to be the” featured performer” on May 23, 2019. This gave me the opportunity to have many friends and family surrounding us for this big moment. I sung a new original song for Danielle entitled “Brand New Story”. And well you know the rest.
Danielle and I enjoy traveling when we get the chance. Our most memorable traveling experience was immediately after the proposal when we drove to Miami with her family and then embarked on a week long cruise to The Bahamas, Caymon Islands, Jamaica, and Mexico.
Shortly after returning from our vacation, we began the process of searching for a house. We found the perfect home in the heart of North side Bethlehem. For the short time we’ve been here, we enjoy hosting friends and continuing to work towards making our new house a home. The Nickelodeon Room helped.
Although our wedding is 2 years away (October 2021), we couldn’t be more ready to marry each other. Each step we take towards this day is a celebration of love between us and we are enjoying the ride until we get there."
