From the Photographers

Brielle & John’s engagement session felt like a true Christmas miracle. Even while on vacation, we couldn’t pass up the chance to document their love in the heart of downtown Bethlehem, PA. We began at the always-joyful Bitty & Beau’s Coffee, where cozy moments and warm smiles set the tone, then explored the twinkling streets filled with holiday charm. From festive lights to natural laughter, every moment captured the magic of the season and the genuine connection these two share.

How they Met + The Proposal

We worked together on opposite shifts . We had known each other for a few years before we pursued each other. After a while it just felt right. The pieces started falling into place and made a relationship that felt meant to be.

I wanted to make sure the proposal was something meaningful and unique to us. I had an idea of what I wanted to do I just needed to find the place and perfect time. We have a gazebo on our property that needed a little love and our backyard is really beautiful. So it was the perfect place to bring my plan to life. I cleaned/decorated the gazebo with flowers, string lights, and photos of us. On the night of the proposal I was a nervous wreck and hoping not to tip anything off. We were determined that today was the day. So of course it rained all day long with two different tornado warnings in effect. The sky started to clear as we left for dinner. While we were there my family set up the gazebo with the final touches and a candlelit walkway. As we left dinner to return home the skies broke into a beautiful sunset and a rainbow overhead. As we pulled into the drive way she figured it out. Once we got into the gazebo I proposed to both Brielle and Levi with his own ring pop . It ended up being perfect with a beautiful sunset to seal the deal.

Best Part of being Engaged + some Advice

Being a single mom automatically makes my choices and focus be around my son. However, being engaged allows us to steal time that is intended just for us as a couple and celebrating/prioritizing that part of our life and family. It allows us to make sure we take the time to continue to build something together for not just a perfect wedding day but, our future together as well.

Divide and conquer. Planning a whole wedding is stressful and overwhelming at baseline. If you write things out on a list and both pick things to do research on it makes selecting the right fit together a lot easier and less burdensome.
