It Started with Magic
The story of Brandon + Kirsten started with a friendly game of Magic. Magic the Gathering that is. Not familiar? It is an elaborate fantasy card game. Wikipedia has got your back! According to their story, Kirsten thought that Brandon played on the "other team" Well after their Magic Battle concluded, they parted ways until he returned to visit family. Their mutual friend decided to invite Kiki and Brandon out to hang out where Brandon soon decided to ask Kiki to be his girlfriend. Jaw Dropped! She was excited to find out that he was not gay, after all! The rest is history, and they are now living together with their fur babies.
Meeting Them & The Photoshoot
It would probably be safe to say that meeting KiKi and Gnome for the first time at a local Bar in Allentown, PA was a dream for me. I loved hearing about their story for the first time with a good beer, which is great because they are total Beer snobs! 🍺 I learned about their love for pop-culture and seeing how much they loved one another. As a photographer, it makes my job easy capturing their natural expressions when you see the love radiating from one another! We talked about how their wedding theme is centered around a Post-Apocalyptic universe, and we both knew we had to incorporate that into their engagement session. On the day of the session, it was COLD, but they were troopers and managed to get two sessions in one! A somewhat "normal" session when we first arrived at The Steel Stacks, but wrapping up the photo shoot with their cosplays from the Fallout universe. Enjoy their story!
