How they Met

These two beautiful souls found each other through a mutual friend during a get together at their home. Michele and Mary-Lou quickly became friends after their first meeting. Over the years, they went to plenty of Chris Daughtry concerts while playing darts and pool. They were having so much fun together that they decided to take their friendship to the next level.

The Proposal

Before the proposal, the two went through life together for the next 20 years but never "officially" decided to be a couple. The two went through life as close friends until one day, they both were ready to be together for the long haul. Eight months later, Michele had a romantic dinner planned at Roadies in Penn's Peak for Valentine's day. Unfortunately, snow piled up as Mary Lou was getting ready for their date. The two lovers decided to stay home with frozen burritos and green beans for dinner. As Michele admitted that it wasn't the night she was hoping for, she gave Mary Lou an engagement ring. As tears started rolling down her face, she graciously said yes.

Advice From the Couple

Communicate! Give yourselves plenty of time. Plan together and work together to make it the best day ever for both of you. Tell your partner that you love them every day. And most importantly, get Preston to take all of your pictures. 📸

September 19, 2020 - Wedding Day

It goes without saying, but 2020 has been a rough year for couples planning their big day. Luckily, that didn't stop Michele & Mary Lou from having a perfect day to celebrate their union.

It was essential for them to be married at St John's Church in Ringtown, PA. Although the attendance was limited due to the COVID-19 restrictions, My 2nd photographer JT and I were still able to capture the moments of them getting ready and catching them seeing each other for the first time before the brief ceremony. After the ceremony, Michele & Mary Lou had an overlook spot picked out for some portraits.

Later on, we all met back at Capriotti's for a 2nd more significant ceremony outside and had more opportunities to capture that moment. Of course, we had more time for even more portraits that even got a little colorful at night. ;-) I had a lot of fun, and I hope these photos help tell their story.👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩🌈
