From the very first silhouette — a makeup brush held up against the window light — it was clear Katie and Sean's wedding day was going to be one of those days you don't forget. Getting ready unfolded in two very different ways: Katie surrounded by her bridesmaids in sage green as they helped her shimmy into her gown, laughter filling the room; Sean getting a fresh cut from a barber set up right there in the hotel room, his guys crowded around him grinning. By the time his dad stepped in to help him with that mint green tie in the mirror, the whole morning felt like something worth holding onto forever.
The church ceremony was stunning — warm wood, rows of candlelight, and a stained glass cross glowing at the altar as Katie walked down the aisle. But some of my favorite frames came after: the two of them tucked into a pew together, heads touching; Katie glancing over her shoulder in the bright summer sun, bouquet in hand, looking like she'd been born to wear that dress. The bridal party photos in front of that stone exterior were pure joy — arms raised, bouquets in the air, everyone radiating the best kind of energy. And the groomsmen? Let's just say gray suits and a playground slide turned into one of the most genuinely fun groomsmen photos I've ever captured.
The reception at The Phoenix brought the party. There were tears during the parent dances — Katie and Sean watching from the sweetheart table, clearly overwhelmed in the best way. There were private vows exchanged outside in the fading golden light. And then there was the moment Sean's crew hoisted him up on the dance floor, glow sticks raised like they'd just won something. By the end of the night, Katie was owning the floor in her pearl heart-shaped sunglasses with the kind of energy that says this is the best night of my life. Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Hall — you were an absolute joy to be with all day. 🤍
